DNR is responsible for social researching and expressing (audio (podcasting), video (presenting) or writing informational news articles, podcasts /andor videos and stories about real social and community events using a fair and unbiased positive perspective. Their duties include recorning, interviewing experts, gathering first-hand accounts of social events and organizing an outline into a cohesive, interesting story.
Key Responsibilities of a News Journalist (News Media Professional):
- Collect, verify and analyze thoroughly newsworthy information.
- Assemble findings into a stable story.
- Record (A/V), Write and deliver news stories with the reader’s perspective in mind.
- Publish or Upload news stories.
- Receive assignments or investigate news leads/tips.
- Abide by positive journalism’s ethics and codes.
